Store Counter Deployment Checklist

Windows Counter PC

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Minimum 4 GB RAM (8 GB for multi-terminal LAN server).

Receipt or Laser Printer

3-inch (80mm) ESC/POS thermal receipt printer or standard A4/A5 laser/inkjet printer.

USB Barcode Scanner

Standard plug-and-play USB 1D/2D barcode reader configured in keyboard emulation mode.

Local Backup Media

Dedicated external USB flash drive or secondary drive partition for automated daily database dumps.

Package Integrity & Checksum Verification

Before executing the desktop installer on a store computer, you can verify the SHA-256 cryptographic hash in Windows PowerShell to confirm the binary has not been altered:

Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\AgriMitraRetailOS-Setup-x64.exe

Match the returned hash against the cryptographic signature in your official dispatch note or customer license portal.

Standard Installation Procedure

    Run the Setup Installer: Launch the executable setup wizard on your target counter PC. The installer automatically configures the local embedded database engine.

    Enter Store Details: Provide your store business name, GST number, pesticide license number, and select your default thermal or laser invoice format.
  3. 3
    Begin Offline Billing: Start issuing compliant bills immediately. All transaction records and batch histories remain securely on your local computer.
